Can anyone remember what the main idea from the sermon was word-for-word? Can anyone remember what the main points from the outline were word-for-word? Why is it important to acknowledge that governments are by God’s design, through His reign, and under the thumb of His sovereignty? What is the civil magistrate’s role? What are some examples of the magistrate operating how it should as well as outside the bounds of its job description? How should we respond to lawful magistrates? How should we respond to tyrants?

Pray for each other. Consider having each believing member of the family pray that all would be found obedient to the imperatives in Romans 13. Pray for godly wisdom and perspective for when to lawfully submit to the government and when to resist its tyranny.
